The Terrell Youth Advisory Council (YAC) was recently created to serve as a liaison to the Terrell City Council. YAC participates in social, cultural, and recreational activities that are meant to empower students and provide an opportunity to showcase the contribution of youth to our community through volunteerism and service and proposing initiatives that are directed toward effective change.

The YAC operates under the sponsorship of the City of Terrell with co-sponsorship from TerrellIndependentSchool District and the YMCA.
