Mission:
The Yoakum Independent School District has high expectations of its students and dedicates its efforts and resources to assure that EVERY STUDENT WILL LEARN. The District occupies a position of public trust, and it shares with the parents and the community the responsibility for training students in becoming useful, self-supporting, and productive citizens. The District will provide an educational environment conducive to the maximum intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth of all students.

The District will strive to accomplish its mission by focusing on providing a quality educational program, recruiting, developing, and retaining quality instructional leaders and staff, cultivating a climate in which quality education  can thrive, and managing the District in an effective and efficient  manner.
