When the vision of our middle school is functioning, students will be happily and actively engaged in learning. Students will engage in real-world, relevant, active, and research-based learning, helping all students to meet or exceed the student learning standards. Students will leave Wiley equipped to discover and explore their interests, aptitudes, and abilities.
Staff will work together to create an atmosphere of respect, quality learning, inclusiveness and connectiveness for the students’ learning and futures. Staff will use a variety of strategies and outside resources to ensure that student learning is relevant, challenging, and engaging. Assessments will be ongoing and related to instruction and the standards to ensure no student will “fall through the cracks.” Excellence will be rewarded through celebrations that represent quality achievements on the parts of staff and students
