West Elkton Elementary is one of two elementary schools in the Preble Shawnee School District. Located in West Elkton, Ohio, we are a 4th grade through 6th grade building of approximately 360 students. We currently staff our building with 16 classroom teachers, 2 resource teachers and teachers for music, physical education and art (every other week).

Our classrooms are adequate and equipped with up-to-date technology and textbooks. We provide a variety of programs to best serve the needs of our students. This year will mark the second year our students will use "EveryDay Math" as our math curriculum. In addition, we are beginning a new program called "Skills Tutor" in the areas of reading and math to help improve our test scores.
