Mission Statement:

To be the Church of Christ which provides a place of belonging and acceptance with opportunities for ministry and personal growth through Biblical preaching, teaching, prayer, and the study of God's Word for everyone.

At the top of our weekly worship bulletin it says that First Congregational  Church is the church that love built, and yet, we know that the church continues to build and grow, and so we now think of ourselves as the church that love is continuing to build. Christian love is at the heart of our ministry  and mission here at First Congregational Church. Responding to the love and grace of God, we unite in Christian fellowship for the worship of God and the service of God's children, and seek individually and as a congregation, through the commitment of our physical, mental, financial, and spiritual resources, to grow and to help others to grow in faith, understanding and expression of God's purpose for humankind
