The Community Church of Harrisville and Chesham is currently represented by a lively and loving congregation of members who are very much a part of our community and all of whom are not afraid to belt out a hymn on Sunday morning. The church welcomes all, regardless of age, ethnicity, or background and places a high priority on children. The community is very supportive of church functions, from bean suppers to plant sales, as is the church of community functions, from the fireman's barbecues to Old Home Days.

The Community Church currently owns two churches within five miles of one another. Although we utilize two different church buildings, we are one entity (both financially and in worship), and we participate in both the United Church of Christ and American Baptist Church denominations successfully. Worship services are typically held in the larger brick church in Harrisville in fall, winter and spring, and in the smaller church in Chesham during the summer months, with some exceptions. The brick church in Harrisville is equipped with an office, year-round space for church and community functions in addition to Sunday worship and Sunday School.
