Temple Tifereth Israel is a welcoming, supportive, and spiritual congregatio affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. We offer a reverent and joyful space for worship, learning, and activities that both bring our community together and provide support to the broader communities in our region, our nation, and in Israel. Our congregation is sustained by five pillars.

Kehillah Community: We are committed to fostering an inclusive community that welcomes Jews, their partners, and their families from diverse backgrounds. We embrace the notion that we are entered into a covenant with our fellow members to support and enhance their experience.

Talmud Torah (Learning): By offering a comprehensive, integrated program of formal and informal education for children and teenagers – as well as myriad adult education opportunities – we demonstrate the value of lifelong learning. Across the age spectrum, we teach the foundations and traditions of Judaism, and their relevance in today’s world.

Avodah (Worship): We worship, praise, and seek to know God as a community through a diverse offering of engaging and meaningful prayer services. These opportunities provide moments of comfort, clarity, reflection, and transformation.

Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World): We fulfill the mitzvah of repairing the world through acts of lovingkindness on a personal level, and through support of social justice initiatives that affect our society and the world at large.

K'lal Yisrael (Jewish Community): Through tzedakah, advocacy, and prayer, we demonstrate and strengthen our commitment to the State of Israel and to the Jewish people in the US and throughout the world.
