Mission Statement

The purpose of the Second Congregational Church of Winsted, Connecticut, is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples of all nations. We seek to accomplish this by:

Worship...in Holy Communion, prayer, music and education in the Scriptures.

Teaching...people of all ages to live today according to the principles of the Bible.

Caring...for all people through outreach ministries in the congregation, the community and the world.

Sharing...through fellowship, developing a loving community, inviting to our members, neighbors and strangers alike.

Toward these ends, we as members of the Church of Christ, commit our personal time, talent and treasures, investing our lives in God's service.
