Mission:

We, the body of Christ and the congregation of St. Mary's Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, are devoted to the furtherance of God's Kingdom through sincere and reverent worship, the promotion of discipleship, ministering to the needs of others, and engaging in loving, Christian fellowship.

Beliefs:

there is one living true, and eternal God, the Father; of whom are all things, from everlasting to everlasting, glorious, unchangeable in all His attributes.

there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary, who was truly God and truly man.

there is one Holy Spirit, the precious gift of the Father through His Son, who is the divine presence in our lives.

that the church is the body of Christ, all believers everywhere.

in the general provision made of God in Christ for all who respond in total trust and commitment.

in the fellowship of the saints through the worshiping community and the promise of eternal life.

About Us:

St. Mary's Grove Church is a growing community of believers in Jesus Christ. We are members of the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists.

St. Mary's Grove was started by a handful of believers over 100 years ago. Though a precise date it was founded is unknown, minutes from the 1866 Cape Fear Conference meeting record Elder Parrott Creech representing the church, with a membership of twenty-two.

Our church as been blessed over the years and today continues the ministry started over one hundred years ago- to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to our community, and the world.
