Church History
Rosewood Lane Church of the Nazarene began as a home-mission church in 1961. Rev. Lowell Drake, Pastor of Salt Lake City First Church of the Nazarene and Rev. Robert Knighton, Pastor of Ogden Church of the Nazarene, and their congregations sponsored the Rosewood Lane Church.  The original church was located at 94 East Center, Kaysville.  Services were held in the home of Rev. Joe Needham while work was being done on that original building.   After Rev. Needham left Rev. Garrison was appointed to pastor the church.
When Rev. Knighton's term ended in Ogden, he came to Kaysville and started holding services in his home at 92 West First North (which was torn down in 1969).  He repaired the leased building and began holding services there.
He was followed by Rev. Francis Aeschliman, who pastored the church as a home mission project for some 18 months. Pastor Franklin Butler came to pastor in June 1961 and the church was organized under his ministry in March 1964.  On June 1, 1967, the church broke ground for a new building in Layton at the churches current site (455 E. Rosewood Lane in Layton) and moved into the unfinished building on June 1, 1968. The building was dedicated June 22, 1969.
The following is a record of pastors since Rosewood Lane Church of the Nazarene was organized in 1964:
