Root Force Collective Farm is located west of Richmond, VA and was started in 2008. We grow a diverse selection of high quality produce and mushrooms along with pastured pigs and chickens. All of our work is done without the use of synthetic chemicals, herbicides or pesticides working instead to mimic natures own rhythms to produce our food.

The CSA runs from the first week of May through the end of September (21 weeks in 2011). CSA shares can be picked up from us at one of our farmer's markets (Saturday or Tuesday) or directly from the farm (Tuesday). The share will include a cross section of what is currently in season on the farm and members receive a 10% discount on items bought at market. The CSA costs $500.00 including taxes which works out to $23.80 per week.

We will be at the Forest Hill Market on Saturdays and at a midweek market, most likely Byrd House on Tuesday evenings. Please let us know your pickup location for the season in the application form.
