We are a start-up non-profit. We incorporated in Ohio in March 2011. Our mission is to provide recovering adult chemical dependents with safe-short term sober-living arrangements while the recovering chemical dependent works to regain control of their lives, thru the guidance and anointing of the Holy Spirit and the grace of our Savior Jesus Christ. Road to Freedom aims to enhance the recovery process for chemical dependents and improve their overall opportunities to continue to abstain from drugs and alcohol. Goals and Objectives Goal 1 is to provide Low-cost sober living arrangements for recovering adult addicts. The objectives for goal 1 are to open, operate and manage a sober house for recovering female addicts and to recruit and train a staff of approximately 10 volunteers. Goal 2 is to increase public awareness of drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. The objectives for goal 2 is to organize fundraising events to raise funds for the operation of Road to Freedom Inc. and increase awareness about chemical dependency and the importance of sober houses in the recovery process. Goal 3 is to link and coordinate with area agencies to improve prevention and intervention programs, which could possibly develop additional programs. The objectives for goal 3 are to start transitional living homes for young individuals 18 years of age that need assistance in transitioning into adult living, whether they are aging out of foster care or a group home.
