Pagosa Fiber Festival

Mission Statement:
The Pagosa Fiber Festival supports both the efforts of a growing cottage industry involved in fiber-related businesses and the small fiber-producing livestock farmers.  Whether raising animals for breeding, sale and fiber production (alpacas, llamas, goats, rabbits, sheep and yak) or working their fiber (spinning, weaving, knitting, felting, designing patterns) to make products for sale, these people help to diversify economic activity in the area and make a rural lifestyle economically feasible.  The unique purpose of the Festival is to provide a venue to promote their products.

About Us:
The Pagosa Fiber festival was started in 2001 and we have continued to have a fiber festival each year. We are located in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado, on the San Juan River near the continental divide. Hot Springs abound and are very relaxing.

Our festival is held each Memorial Day Weekend in the Pagosa Springs Town Park.
