We are the Body of Christ.

The Community of Saint Rose of Lima parish endeavors to be a Christ-Centered family. We, therefore, commit ourselves through spiritual, education and social action, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to love one another as He has loved us.

Beliefs:

God doesn't make junk.

We agree that you are a treasured member of God's family, that all human life is a precious gift and, therefore, you are welcome as members of our Christian family at St. Rose of Lima Parish.

Religion is a contact sport.

One man commenting about his adoring 6-year old son said "we like to be together." That's true for us as practicing Catholics. We like worshiping and playing and learning and working together. We like to bring the Body of Christ to shut ins and the sick. We like serving our neighbors in need.  We like to share our enthusiasm for the love of God with each other every weekend, and every day if possible.

We practice our faith through deeds.

Ours is not a private religion. Ours is a religion that practices what we preach every day in the public square. We strive to ACT as Jesus would. That's why we have many ministries to serve each other in many, many different and spectacular ways. We believe that we are building the Kingdom of God.

We are a Stewardship community.

We share our Time, our Treasure and our Talents with each other as we journey together through our lives and through the signposts of our religion. Stewardship makes us better Christians because we choose to follow the way of love which always is generous.
