OUR HISTORY

North River was founded as a mission church in 1972. The congregation first met in the Chattahoochee River assembly facilities of the Atlanta Baptist Association. In 1976, the congregation purchased an old horse farm in the north Roswell area and moved to the site that same year. Within a few years, the Highway 92 - Crabapple Road area began to experience explosive growth. It is our desire to provide facilities and ministries to meet the needs of the area residents. Today, the church draws almost equally from the Roswell, Alpharetta, South Cherokee, and East Cobb communities.
