History

Our church was started from scratch on May 15th, 2004 in the American Legion Hall on the corner of 8th and 'C' Streets in Springfield.  Nick & Lisa Gillaspie -along with Matt & Miranda Burkhead- started the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with a vision of reaching our area with the Gospel.

We have seen families restored and growing; children grow into fine Christ-honoring adults; and a group of people become a church family, grow in the Lord, and love each other.  We think you should visit this Sunday...maybe you could find your place and become part of a great church family!
