Sharers typically get 5-9 different vegetables and fruits weekly. Work shares are available (and encouraged) for a discounted price. Pick up at the farm Mondays or Thursdays. Mill River Valley Gardens is operated as a CSA co-op, providing New Haven area families with a wide variety of vegetables and fruits grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Growing practices at Mill River Valley Gardens adhere to the standards set forth in the Farmer's Pledge. Sharers pick up shares weekly from the farm. Pick your own is offered at the end of the season for greens and other crops that are still producing. Weekly share-outs generally consist of 5 - 9 different items. Work shares are encouraged, but not required, as a way to build connection between sharers and the land. The farm is located at the end of Ridge Road in North Haven at the base of Sleeping Giant.
