About Us

The Greater Cleveland Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., founded in 1977, is a non-profit, mostly voluntary health organization. Its purposes are to raise public awareness , educate and support those affected by lupus and find a cure, educate health care professionals, and promote, encourage and provide funds for Lupus research.

The Chapter functions mostly with volunteers. All monies raised through membership dues, donations and fund-raising are utilized for educational programs and funding local lupus research projects each year. The Lupus Foundation is also a National Voluntary Health Agency and a participant in the Combined Federal Campaign.
