The Lancaster Area Film Festival is a filmmaker's film festival hosted by 81st Street Productions and Stunod Pictures Entertainment.

Organized by 81st Street Production's Bryan M. Schaefer, Mark Pennell and Stunod Pictures Entertainment's Jason Prugar. The three conceived the idea for the film festival while attending another film festival. The first ideas about how to put together the festival indicated that it would be held outside in the park, kind of drive in movie style, but after careful consideration it was decided that a better festival could be planed at an indoor site. (at least for the first few years)
