The motto of Kiwanis is "Serving the Children of the World." The defining statement of KIwanis is "Kiwanis is an organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time."

Kiwanis is the largest sponsor of Service Leadership Program (SLP) clubs among all of the various service organizations. Lima has sponsored a Circle K (Ohio Northern with the Ada club), the Aktion Club of Allen County (the largest service club for adults with developmental disabilities), Key Club for high school students (Lima Senior), Builders clubs for middle school students (North and South), and Kiwanis Kids for elementary students (Independence and Heritage).

Our signature service project is the distribution of approximately 1,500 trees annually to every first grade student in Allen County.         See us on Facebook at Kiwanisoflimaohio.
