Kiwanis Club of Kaneohe

About Us:

The name Kiwanis comes from an American Indian term meaning "to Build," and is a metaphor for a constructive way of life. Like the Christophers, we believe "it is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."

As a service organization we are dedicated to helping others, with an emphasis on youth.

By sponsoring and supporting Key Clubs at Castle and Sacred Hearts High Schools, and a K-Kid Club at Kaneohe Elementary School we encourage the next generation to respect God and Country, and to discover the joy of serving others.

Each one of us is part of a worldwide movement helping to make the world a healthier and safer place for families. When working together, both the young and the 'young at heart' find fellowship in service, and ideas becoming realities.
