Kenton Lions Club

995 N Detroit St
567-674-9093

History:
The Kenton Lions Club was formed on January 14, 1947. Our club was originally sponsored by the Dunkirk Lions Club. We are an active organization and concerned with our community.

Although we support district, state and international projects, most of our work and our funds are directed to the benefit of our local community. We invest thousands of dollars each year in local projects plus many volunteer hours for the betterment of our community.

We are probably best known for our Lions Show, which is held every other year with skits and local entertainment to raise money for our service projects. However we do many other things you may not know about.

Some of our service projects include:

-Purchase of eyeglasses for children.
-Recycling of eyeglasses.
-Participation in local parades.
-Contributions to the local Dollars For Scholars and Lions Quest programs.
