Connecting needs, resources, volunteers and opportunities -- That's all in a day's work for the Junior Service League (JSL) and it has been for 85 years!

As an all-women's organization with a mission of supporting women and children in crisis, promoting volunteerism, and improving the community through civic service and leadership, we bring the strength of women and the power of community to make a difference in the lives of women and children in crisis in the greater Concord area.

Each year the JSL invests thousands of hours to community agencies and programs. We collaboratively volunteer thousands of hours each year to civic projects and programs. Over the last several years the JSL has also raised over $50,000 to help families needing medical or financial assistance, and organizations who share the same mission.

In order to do this we meet as a group once a month and determine fundraising opportunities.  For the past several years, we have held a gala and prior to the gals, we held The American Girl Fashion Show.  For decades, we have also held a children's theater performance in March at St. Paul's School.  Each year we distribute the funds back to individuals, families, school children, or nonprofit organizations.  We have helped with rent, mortgage, meals, mentorship, gas, and dozens of JSL designated organizations such as Hope on Haven Hill, Friends of Forgotten Children, Crisis Center, Friends Program, Dismas House, Womanade, as well as many others, and have over the years have sent many underprivileged children or at risk children to summer camps.

We also make lasting friendships.  Please join us!
