MISSION:

Iowa Falls Chamber Main Street is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization established to foster the preservation of our historic downtown Main Street district. Chamber Main/Street promotes the economic growth of our local businesses and investors and strives to enhance the overall quality of life in Iowa Falls for all.

VISION:

Iowa Falls Chamber Main Street supports ongoing economic growth and promotes a community of upper-story living, thriving businesses and unique dining and retail establishments. Nestled along the scenic Iowa River with our many public parks and historically preserved downtown with refreshed streetscape, we have the perfect blend making Iowa Falls and our historic Main Street district a desirable visitors’ destination and the quality community we call home. 

History

The Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and the Main Street Iowa Falls, Inc. formed a new corporation, Iowa Falls Chamber /Main Street, Inc. on October 1, 1993. The organizations were combined to stimulate economic development in Iowa Falls through organization of leadership in the business community, to promote a positive image for Iowa Falls as an exciting place to live, shop and invest, to provide design assistance to improve the appearance of Iowa Falls and to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Iowa Falls area so that citizens in all areas of this business community shall prosper.

The Iowa Falls Chamber of Commerce/Main Street, Inc. is governed by a nine to twelve-member Board of Directors. Through special events, business building activities, and tourism, Chamber/Main Street contributes to the growth and promotion of Iowa Falls.

Our goals and objectives are accomplished through the efforts of numerous volunteers. Chamber/Main Street maintains an active volunteer base. With the coordinated activities of six committees, the Chamber/Main Street provides a full calendar of business, entertainment and tourism activities.
