About Us:

Immanuel Lutheran Church is located in Story City, Iowa, 10 miles north of Ames and Iowa State University. Our full-time staff includes two pastors, a Youth and Education Ministry Coordinator and an office administrator. We have excellent music and youth programs and numerous mission efforts. Our pastors participate in the active area ministerial association.

Immanuel is a growing congregation of over 1000 baptized members of all ages.  We are affiliated with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), an international fellowship of congregations that focus on the authority of God’s Holy Word and the desire to spread the Good News of the Gospel to all both near and far.
