Humanities Festival


The 39 th annual Casper College Humanities Festival and Demorest Lecture "Human / Nature" will be held February 20-24 th , 2024.  Invited presenters in various disciplines from social and physical sciences, humanities and fine arts, will explore the theme and encourage a dialogue with attendees. The Natrona County Library will offer a Book Club with Keynote Susan Rogers and a Family Day. The Casper College Department of Theatre and Dance will present Pencils Down!, conceived, directed, and choreographed, by Amy Fitzsimmons. The Western History Center will present student curated exhibitions in the Goodstein Foundation Library and the Natrona County Library. The Mildred Zahradnicek Art Gallery will present Wonder Room by ceramicist Tina Opp. Additional partnerships include the Werner Wildlife Museum and the Tate Geological Museum for special events.
