Highlands Elementary School provides an academically challenging program where students experience success and are encouraged to become life-long learners, problem solvers and creative, inventive discoverers. Staff, parents, and community work cooperatively to provide a positive, nurturing learning environment that promotes student self-esteem and develops individual responsibility. Diversity and special needs of individuals are valued, and each person is treated with dignity and respect.

Vision Statement :

Highland 's Vision Statement was written collaboratively with parents, staff, students and the community three years ago. We revisit this statement every year and it expresses the core values of our school community.
