To establish a church where first and foremost The Word of God is treated as it is, The Word of God. Where the strong, secure and confident can gather together in fellowship with the wounded, confused and misplaced and both together become all that God has called them to be.
To establish a church where praise and worship is not just a sight and sound experience, but rather the true entering in of the children into the presence of their Father to love and be loved upon. And that there is an understanding that true worship should never be judged by the appearance of other's actions, but rather by the condition of our own hearts.
To establish a church that will approach evangelism with an attitude of some aggression, realizing that the enemy's agenda in these last days is to distract men from the Gospel by comfort and pleasure and to lull the church to sleep by complacency. As a great evangelist once stated, "We must plunder Hell to populate Heaven." Amen!
To establish a church that will minister to every part of man; spirit, soul and body!
To establish a church where the people are trained, empowered and released into ministry as God has called them. A church where there is made a place for every man and women's true gifts and callings to be exercised within an environment of decency and order.
To establish a church that realizes the task of reaching a community is a large one and not to be done as a "lone ranger", but that there needs to be a coming together of all those churches who are concerned with reaching the lost and discipling them into Christian maturity.
To establish a church that believes in the miracle working power of God and is not afraid to take that power to the places where those that need it are desperately seeking for a powerful and living God who wants to do more in their life then just get them into Heaven.
A vision is a starting point that sees an end result. The reality is that there is a lot of space between a vision and the fulfillment of that vision. For Galion Worship Center this space is a process of time that requires, prayer, people and persistence. We believe that God is touching the hearts of those who are to become a part of this great and exciting work. Could this be you?
