About Us
The family at First Baptist Church welcomes you! We are a Southern Baptist Convention-affiliated church located in central Utah. We are right off of I-70, just miles from I-15. We are located in the beautiful Sevier Valley, surrounded by God's majestic creation, the Rocky Mountains. First Baptist Church was founded in 1973 and has been serving the community faithfully since then.
What Drives Us
We are driven by a passion for glorifying God in all we do. Since God has given us instructions for how to glorify Him, we choose to be obedient by upholding a high view of Scripture, the Holy Bible, as God's inerrant, infallible, inspired, and sufficient Word. We believe the Word is our only rule of faith and practice. We do subscribe to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as a human interpretation of particular biblical teachings guiding our faith and practice.
