Mission:

First Baptist Church of Broussard exists to bring glory to God and be a 'Lighthouse of Faith, Hope and Love'.  We seek to be... Fully Devoted Worshippers of God; Fully Committed Disciples of Jesus Christ and Fully Empowered Ministers through the Holy Spirit.

Objective:

To Communicate God's Love through Evangelism to Extend God's Kingdom through Missions, To Celebrate God's Presence through Worship, To Incorporate God's family through Fellowship, To Equip and Edify God's People through Discipleship and to Demonstrate God's Love through Ministry.

Our Biblical Mandate:

Sharing God's Light and Love by fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment as found in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 12:30-31.

Purpose:

We were PLANNED for God's Pleasure to Worship; FORMED for God's Family to Fellowship; CREATED to become Like Christ through Discipleship; SHAPED for Serving God through Ministry; and CALLED for a Mission of Evangelism and Missions.
