What We Believe
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments alone, to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.We believe there is ONE God, Who exists eternally and coequally in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God the Father, infinitely perfect, is mercifully concerned with the affairs of people, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus. We believe in the pre-existence and deity of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, His incarnation in real humanity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death and bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit, expressed through faith alone in Jesus alone, is absolutely essential for salvation. We affirm the spiritual unity of all Believers in Jesus. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit Whose indwelling enables the follower of Jesus to live a godly life.

We believe that our Lord has committed two ordinances to the local congregation: baptism – the sign of God’s covenant of grace; and the Lord’s Supper – the sign of His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved to live forever with God, and those that are lost to be forever separated from the living God.

We affirm the freedom of conviction for each follower of Jesus Christ on other doctrinal matters, provided that any interpretation is based upon the Bible alone and that no such interpretation shall be used to hinder the ministry to which God has called this congregation.

In addition to these distinctives, the Board of Elders of this congregation has affirmed that the New Hampshire Confession of Faith” is a most excellent expression of what we believe is clearly taught in the Word of God. Agreement with this historic creed, however, is not required for membership or to serve as a church officer, except that essential agreement with the New Hampshire Confession of Faith is required of those called to serve as Elder.
