Early Learning Center

Here at the ELC, the children are working on social emotional development, approaches towards learning, cognitive development/general knowledge, language/literacy development and physical well-being/motor development.  These early learning standards mentioned above have been adopted through the Early Childhood Department at the Ohio Department of Education.

Euclid City School’s Early Learning Center has formed a collaborative relationship with Head Start to add two full-day classrooms for the 2015-16 school year. Head Start promotes school readiness for young children from low-income families through agencies or school districts in their local community, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to extend educational opportunities to more Euclid residents. The services offered through Head Start mirror much of what we currently provide to children and families at the Early Learning Center, allowing for a seamless transition. The true benefit of our collaboration includes full-day programming for children who demonstrate the greatest need.

There is a great deal of motivation, positive reinforcement, and engaging work happening at the ELC.  We are all looking forward to a great school year. Do not hesitate to contact the ELC at 216-732-2700 for any questions or concerns.
