The Mission of Concord Prison Outreach is to initiate, support and coordinate volunteer involvement in educational programming at the two prisons located in Concord: MCI-Concord and the Northeastern Correctional Center (NCC). CPO develops and offers volunteer led courses in life skills, education and personal and spiritual growth programs to help prepare inmates for their return to the community. CPO also provides the community with programs concerning current prison and criminal justice issues. CPO seeks ways to foster interaction among prison staff, inmates and outside community members in the interest of promoting communication among all parties.
