About Us:

The Clarke County Parks and Recreation Department offers a host of recreational activities and programs for all ages. A listing of programs and activities can be found in the Department's newsletter, "The Core". 

The Department also manages  the  102 acre Chet Hobert Park, which houses an outdoor swimming pool, lighted outdoor tennis courts, 6 ball fields, numerous soccer fields, a Recreation Center, 4 picnic shelters, 2 playgrounds and a fitness trail.
