CPS’ graduation rate has increased dramatically over the past decade, from 51 percent in 2000 to 81.9 percent for the Class of 2010. Three CPS high schools - Walnut Hills High School, Withrow University High School and Clark Montessori High School - are ranked among the top 1,000 public high schools in the United States, according to national magazines. In 2010, the U.S. Department of Education awarded Robert A. Taft Information Technology High School a National Blue Ribbon for excellence.
