Church Of Christ At Cedar Lane

1200 Cedar Lane
931-455-4665

Since its beginning, the church of Christ at Cedar Lane has sought opportunities to edify, encourage, and spread the Good News. The result is educational, youth, mission work, and family and senior ministries. We invite everyone who is searching for a church home to become a member of our family at Cedar Lane as we strive to accomplish God’s will.

In October 1999, the decision was made to build a new facility, and a 15-acre site on Cedar Lane was purchased in March 2000 on which to build it. A three-year capital stewardship campaign was initiated in May 2001. Construction was started in June 2003, and the first service in the new facility was held on August 8, 2004. At that time, the name was changed to the church of Christ at Cedar Lane.

In 1954, Edwin Coop of the Moore Street church of Christ donated a building lot to provide a location for a new congregation. By 1961, a building fund was started and trustees were selected for the new congregation, named the Bel-Aire church of Christ. A year later, construction was completed and the first service was held on January 14, 1962. In subsequent years an addition on the south end and an annex were added.
