Byers ISD is a 1A school district located in the town of Byers, Texas located 15 miles southeast of Waurika, Oklahoma on Highway 79 and 20 miles northeast of Wichita Falls, Texas on Highway 79. The district includes one campus that serves students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The current enrollment as of August 14, 2006 is 123 students. There are 24 faculty/staff members led by Superintendent Steve Wolf and Principal Burt Montgomery. Each member of the Byers School community plays a major role in providing for the social, emotional, physical, and educational well-being of all students.
