Bucyrus Country Club

1330 E. Mansfield Street

Bucyrus Country Club traces its origin to 1925 when the course was constructed as a 9 hole private golf club. There is a rumor that it was designed by an old Scotsman but there is no knowledge that it was the Scotsman. The club was run as a member-owned private golf facility until 1992 when a new nine holes was added. At that time, the club catered to members but was also made available for public play. This operating philosophy continues today.

In March 2003, a new ownership group took over operation of the club. Bucyrus Country Club, Ltd. is a limited liability company comprised of fifty-nine owner-members.

Bucyrus Country Club is an 18 hole championship golf course. When the new nine holes were constructed, they were blended in with the original nine holes. On the front nine, holes #1,7,8 & 9 are original holes. On the back nine, holes #10,11, 12, 17 and 18 are original holes.

The golf course is complemented with a first class clubhouse facility. This includes The Bogey Grill which provides a full luncheon menu Mon. - Fri. On weekends, the Grill provides a "golfer's fare" menu. The Bogey Grill features our chef Glen Fraccica who has created a popular luncheon destination as well as a white table cloth dining destination on Sat. evenings in the fall, winter and spring. A less formal dining menu is being initiated for Friday evenings during the golf season. The grill also features your favorite beer, wine and spirits. The Bogey Grill is also available for business meetings, luncheons and formal or informal social events (class renunions, wedding receptions, holiday parties, etc.) on a rental basis.

The clubhouse also includes a fully stocked pro-shop and both men's and women's locker facilities.
