The mission of Aurora is to prevent and end homelessness in our community. Aurora pledges to provide services to the homeless, promote services that prevent homelessness, educate the community on the issues, facilitate collaboration, and advocate for the social and economic changes necessary to make ending homelessness a reality.

Being a small nonprofit, Aurora relies on volunteers to aid staff with various tasks and responsibilities to ensure that the organization's and clients' needs are being met. Aurora is always searching for dedicated individuals from all backgrounds and ages to give a few hours per week or month. Rather than working directly with clients, volunteers generally serve in in-direct roles such as clerical, fundraising, donation processing and sorting, outreach bag assembly, and other vital areas of operations.
