About Us:

Opened in 2005, this location serves as a home for the arts in the Auglaize/Mercer County area.  While the location of the Auglaize/Mercer Center has changed three times since its original dedication, the center has always been located in the historic district of downtown St. Marys. In 2015 the City of St. Marys purchased the former Party Shoppe and entered into a multi-year lease with Arts Place.  Our new center was dedicated in January 2016 after a considerable investment of improvements accomplished through private and local governmental support along with tremendous volunteer efforts.  The center houses a gallery and studio space for visual and performing arts instruction.
