Ohio State ATI students can earn an Associate degree in one or more of 28 majors or "technologies" or a certificate of competency in hydraulic service and repair and commercial turf equipment. Each program of study provides excellent career preparation, combining coursework with a variety of hands-on practical experiences and the opportunity to make professional contacts with industry insiders. Students who successfully complete prescribed courses earn an Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science, or the Certificate of Competency.

The Associate of Applied Science degree prepares students for middle management careers by combining general education courses with hands-on classes that provide state-of-the-art technical and business preparation. Students in any Ohio State ATI program may earn this degree.

The Associate of Science degree allows students to complete 50 percent of the requirements for a bachelor's degree in agriculture or natural resources at The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. This degree also includes the transfer module, a common set of general education courses which apply to other bachelor's degree programs in Ohio. The Associate of Science degree program offers many advantages: students begin work toward a bachelor's degree in a smaller, more personal environment, which features one-on-one advising and an excellent faculty/student ratio.
