The Mission of the Acton-Boxborough United Way is to identify and raise public awareness of community needs; link needs with quality services; and raise and allocate funds to support the charitable efforts of the community.

Acton-Boxborough United Way supports our local community – being there in a crisis and planning for long term change.

Founded in 1981 as the Acton-Boxborough Community Chest, we became part of the international United Way in 1991, while retaining our independent and local status.
