Trump is reported to have accepted President Biden’s invitation to a June 27 debate

ATLANTA – Days before President Joe Biden is set to make his second appearance in Georgia this calendar year, former President Donald Trump has finally announced his first non-staged or legal defense fund-related campaign stop to the Peach State by accepting President Biden’s invitation debate on June 27, 2024.

“It makes sense that a man who whines about sitting for hours in an air-conditioned ‘freezing cold ice box’ courtroom would welcome the opportunity to visit the Peach State in late June,” said DPG Communications Director Dave Hoffman. “While Trump can only manage tarmac stops, staged photo-ops at Chick-Fil-A, or fundraisers for his legal defense fund, President Biden is running a strong, robust campaign in Georgia highlighting the thousands of exciting new jobs his investments have created across the state, like the LG Battery Plant in Savannah, the Suniva Solar Plant in Norcross, or QCells in Cartersville.”
