Enjoy a week-long 4th of July Celebration with Tooele City!

The 2023 Theme for this year's 4th of July celebration is "America the Beautiful".

Schedule of Events:

June 27, 2023:

7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Miss Tooele City Pageant - Tooele High School Auditorium, 301 W Vine St, Tooele, UT 84074

The Miss Tooele City Pageant is part of our Week-Long 4th of July Celebration!  Please join us as we crown our 2023 Miss Tooele City! Free to the public.

June 28 - July 4, 2023:  Red, White, and "Blue-tiful" Downtown - Main Street Tooele

During the week of June 28th through July 4th, we invite you to drive, walk, or stroll through the downtown area [Main Street from 100 South and Utah Avenue (200 North) and Vine Street from 50 East and 50 West] to enjoy festive and patriotic Red, White, and "Blue-tiful" decorations as part of our Week-Long 4th of July Celebration.

June 29, 2023:

6:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m: Community BBQ - Aquatic Center Park

Come down the Aquatic Center Park for the Tooele City Community BBQ. Bring your blankets and chairs to enjoy a FREE dinner. Food will be given out while supplies last.

4:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Karaoke Contest - Aquatic Center Park

Karaoke/Sing Along

The Karaoke Contest is a long-standing tradition of the Tooele City 4th of July week-long Celebration. The contest is open to the public and free to participate in or to watch. We have decided to try something new with this great tradition. We will be including a sing along portion to our karaoke night so everyone at the event will have the opportunity to sing together. The event will also include a Corvette Car Show and a free Community BBQ.

The event schedule will go as follows:

4:00 p.m - 4:10 p.m: Sing Along
4:10 p.m - 5:00 p.m: Open Mic
5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Karaoke Contest

5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Corvette Show
6:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m: Community BBQ

5:00 pm - 8:00 p.m: Corvette Car Show - Aquatic Center Park

Show off your ride at the Corvette Car Show, which is part of the Tooele City week-long 4th of July Celebration! Admission is free for those who attend the event AND for those who wish to enter a car into the show. This event is part of our week-long 4th of July Celebration! At this event we will also have a Karaoke contest and a FREE Community Barbeque. You don't want to miss out!

June 30, 2023:

8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Pickleball Tournament - Elton Park

Grab a team-mate, pickleball racket, and some sun screen....it's pickleball tournament time! Register yourself and a partner for the Tooele City's 4th of July Pickleball Tournament! Whether your a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player there is a opportunity to play!

Register yourself and a team-mate today! (Only one person needs to register for the team) Cost is $40.00 per team and includes a tournament shirt!
Event will be held at Elton Park (400 North Broadway, Tooele)

Beginners will play on 6/30/2023 at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Intermediate will play on 6/30/203 at 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Advanced will play on 7/1/2023 at 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

7:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Magician in the Park - Aquatic Center Park

As part of the Tooele City week-long 4th of July Celebration you and your family can come and enjoy a magic show at the Pratt Aquatic Center Park (55 North 200 West, Tooele). Bring some blankets and lawn chairs and come and enjoy the magic of Joshua Benson.

No registration is required for this event, and it is free!

8:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Concert and Fireworks - THS Football Stadium

This year's 4th of July Concert features Tommy DeCarlo With Members Of The Dennis Deyoung Band!

Fireworks will follow the concert at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Our concert will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. at the Tooele High School Football Stadium (240 West 100 South, Tooele). Gates open at 7:00 p.m.

General admission bleacher seating.  No coolers, backpacks, or strollers allowed.  No refunds.

Tickets are available for $5 each at Tooele City Hall (90 North Main Street, Tooele) or Macey's (972 N Main Street, Tooele) starting June 1, 2023.

Tommy DeCarlo (bio) is the singer of the band Boston and has performed on every tour since 2008. An evening of classic rock hits from the ’70s and ’80s with a top band of touring professionals. Special guests, August Zadra and Jimmy Leahey of the Dennis DeYoung Band, will open with a collection of Styx rock classics. August and Jimmy have performed over 500 shows with the Dennis DeYoung Band since 2010. Tommy has performed in support of Foreigner, Bret Michaels, 38 Special, and Styx as well as others in the past 18 months.

11:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m: Bit N' Spur Annual Special Needs Rodeo - Deseret Peak Indoor Arena

Come to the Bit N' Spur Rodeo as part of the 4th of July week-long celebration! Events start at 11:00 a.m. at the Deseret Peak Indoor Arena.

5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Bit N' Spur Annual Youth Rodeo - Deseret Peak Indoor Arena

Come to the Bit N' Spur Rodeo as part of the 4th of July week-long celebration!

For youth ages six and under, up to 15 years old. The Youth Rodeo begins at 5:00 pm.

Contact Codi Nohr to preregister for Youth events, including Mini Bull Riding and Mutton Bustin' Buckle Championship. All-Around saddles to High Point Boy & Girl in 8 - 12 and 13 - 15 age groups. Call 801.310.8961.

July 3, 2023:

7:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Flag Retirement Ceremony - England Acres Park

Tooele City invites you to join us for a ceremony to retire United States Flags with dignity and respect again this year at the Flag Retirement Ceremony on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The Ceremony will be held at England Acres Park (880 North 400 East, Tooele).

Flags will be retired by the Oquirrh Mountain District of Boy Scouts of America. Limited bleacher seating will be available. Please bring blankets and chairs. For more information please contact Tooele City Parks and Recreation at 435.843.2413.

If you have a flag that needs to be retired, please bring it to Tooele City Hall (90 North Main Street) prior to the event. Flags may also be accepted at the event.

7:30 p.m - 10:00 p.m: Bit N' Spur Rodeo - Deseret Peak Indoor Arena

Come to the Bit N' Spur Rodeo as part of the 4th of July week-long celebration! It starts at 8:00 p.m. with a Grand Entry at 7:30 p.m. There will be wild cow milking during half time entertainment. You don't want to miss it!

July 4, 2023:

8:30 a.m - 9:30 a.m: 5K Freedom Run - Settlement Canyon

7:00 a.m - 8:30 a.m: Chamber of Commerce Breakfast - Veterans Memorial Park

Come join the Tooele Chamber of Commerce for breakfast on Monday, July 4, 2023 at the Tooele City Veteran’s Memorial Park from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets cost $5.00 per plate. All veterans from the U.S. Military or our active military service personnel eat free.

9:00 am - 10:00 a.m: Parade - Main Street

This year's Tooele City 4th of July Parade is going to be awesome! You don't want to miss out. The parade will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 and will begin at 9:00 a.m. The route will start at 500 South Main Street and will move north to Utah Avenue. It will then go west to 200 West. The final turn will go south on 200 West with the parade ending at the Aquatic Center Park on the corner of Vine Street and 200 West.

11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Park Activities, Food, Entertainment, and Car Show - Aquatic Center Park

Join the fun and entertainment after our 4th of July Parade on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. There will be entertainment on the main stage as well as food, games, and retail vendors from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. The Bike & Car Show will also be taking place at the same time in the park.

7:30 p.m - 11:00 p.m: Bit N' Spur Rodeo with Lantis Fireworks Display - Deseret Peak Indoor Arena

Come to the Bit N' Spur Rodeo as part of the 4th of July week-long celebration! A grand entry will be at 7:30 p.m. with events following at 8:00 p.m. There will also bea firework show at 10:00 p.m. that you don't want to miss.
