Thanksgiving Point’s annual Tulip Festival, presented by Mountain America Credit Union, returns to the Ashton Gardens from April 7 to May 13!

Over 750,000 spring flowers, including tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, poppies, and more create the award-winning Tulip Festival – an unforgettable display of color and design through the 50-acre Ashton Gardens. Whether you’re celebrating spring with a general admission ticket or experiencing one of our curated packages, you won’t want to miss Utah’s favorite flower festival, only at Thanksgiving Point.

Between April 7 – 20* when you purchase admission to the Tulip Festival, enjoy a complimentary bounce-back ticket good for any of our other venues including the Butterfly Biosphere, Museum of Natural Curiosity, Farm Country, Mountain America Museum of Ancient Life… or even a second saunter through the Tulip Festival. TULIP 5K

Tiptoe through the tulips in the Ashton Gardens with the entire family! All participants receive a race shirt, medal, and the sheer satisfaction of running this amazing 3.1-mile race.

Record-Breaking Tulip Festival

Last October, over 100 volunteers joined Thanksgiving Point’s Gardens Team and planted 41,089 bulbs in one hour – successfully breaking a world record. Keep your eye out for these record-breaking tulips as you make your way through the gardens!

Lyceum Philharmonic Concert

May 13 | 7:30 pm

Join the award-winning Lyceum Philharmonic as they bring the Tulip Festival to a climactic close with a crowd-pleasing Grand Finale concert at the Waterfall Amphitheatre located inside the Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point.

Thanksgiving Point Tulip

The tulipa Thanksgiving Point is a bright yellow, lily-shaped, fragrant tulip that blooms in the late spring. Look for signs noting this unique bloom when you visit.

Tulip Festival Photo Contest

Come visit the Tulip Festival and use your creative eye to take the perfect shot that fulfills that week’s prompt! A new prompt will be posted each week. Photo submissions will be accepted on the Thanksgiving Point app.

Each Friday during the Tulip Festival (starting April 14), Thanksgiving Point judges will select a Photo of the Week which will be featured on Thanksgiving Point’s Instagram page (@thankspoint), and on the Thanksgiving Point marquee for the duration of the week. Each chosen photo will win one Family Membership to Thanksgiving Point.

Yoga In The Gardens With Brick Canvas

Find serenity and mindfulness amongst the budding tulips. Led by Brick Canvas’s world-class yoga instructors, these Friday morning classes will help you soak in all that spring has to offer. All levels are welcome, just bring your yoga mat and water bottle!

Fridays | 9 AM

$34 per person. Class fee includes yoga instruction and Tulip Festival admission.

Living Pansy Wreath

Welcome spring to your home with a living pansy wreath to decorate your front door. This workshop, led by Ashton Gardens Container Specialist JaNae Jorgensen, will detail wreath assembly and care/maintenance of your wreath. After class, take your beautiful wreath home or gift it to a loved one!

Spring Centerpiece Floral Design With Gather Floral

Join Sydnee of Gather Floral (@gatherfloral) in the Ashton Gardens to learn the principles of centerpiece design with some of the most beautiful springtime blooms. This class is excellent for both new and experienced floral enthusiasts.

Watercolor Painting Class

Enjoy the views of the Gardens while taking a step-by-step watercolor painting class with Mourina Nielson, creator and owner of Starry Strokes (@starrystrokes). This class is for artists of all skill levels who are are interested in becoming better artists, all while admiring the beauty of the Gardens.

Floral Photography

Take your photography to the next level! Join instructor Ginger Livingston for her class on capturing flowers and other natural life. By the end of this session, students will have a more complete understanding of how to use their equipment and the environment to create beautiful floral photographs at any time of year.

This class will cover camera settings, do’s and don’ts, lighting tips, the artistic eye, creative angles, storytelling, exposure, composition, and some post-production. Class format will include some classroom instruction before going out into the Ashton Gardens to apply skills just before sunset. Flower Pressing

Join Tara of Pressed Flowers Utah to learn the best way to preserve flowers and hold on to your memories forever! This is a great class for all who want to learn a unique flower preservation skill.
