Holiday Fun for Everyone All Month Long!

December 9: Kris Kringle at the Salisbury Carousel

Kris Kringle, AKA Santa, will visit the Salisbury Carousel for its first annual holiday celebration on Saturday, December 9 from 2 to 5 pm at the Pavilion on Salisbury Beach. In addition to a visit with Santa, children will enjoy holiday facepainting, caroling karaoke, a hands-on-craft project, making reindeer food for Santa’s trusty team, holiday treats, and of course, rides on the Carousel.

December 15: Seaside Yuletide, Shalin Liu Performance Center

Three of the North Shore’s most beloved songwriters and performers converge for A Seaside Yuletide, a night of rootsy holiday spirit and song featuring Jon Butcher, Allen Estes and Sal Baglio.

December 16: Rockport Christmas Pageant

In the spirit of the holidays, the Rockport Art Association and Museum once again presents the Annual Live Christmas Pageant, a torch-lit live re-enactment of the Nativity. The pageant will be held Saturday, December 16th at 5 PM. The pageant begins with a torch-lit procession which starts at Dock Square and proceeds up Main Street to the Congregational Church.

December 15–17: North Atlantic Ballet Presents The Nutcracker, The Cabot

Experience the wonder of The Nutcracker like never before, a modern twist on a timeless classic that brings the magic of the holidays to life in a whole new way. North Atlantic Ballet’s production marries the enchantment of the holiday season with the creativity of a Pixar masterpiece. From dazzling choreography to breathtaking visuals, every moment is designed to transport you into the magical Land of the Sweets.

December 17: Breakfast with Santa, Finz Seafood, Salem

Finz’s annual holiday breakfast buffet is back and better than ever! Come be part of the magic with cookie decorating, pictures and letters with Santa, hot cocoa, and a scavenger hunt!

December 17: The Good Witch Salem's Santa Brunch

Enjoy a family gathering of magic and merriment at the historic Hawthorne Hotel. Dress in your fanciest holiday attire, and step into a world of Christmas wonder. There will be an array of activities. Children receive a special potion cookie kit upon arrival, for decorating. You can also write a letter to Santa, sharing your holiday wishes. The event is filled with music and dancing, spreading joy and cheer all around.

December 17: Santa's Jingle Bell Breakfast, In the Game, Peabody

Join In the Game Peabody for a holly jolly merry time on December 17th from 10 am to 12 pm. For only $29 your child can enjoy: 80 play credits, one attraction of your choice, jingle bell breakfast, hot chocolate bar, win a prize in the stocking scramble challenge, craft station with make-and-take holiday gifts and ornaments, plus a meet and great with Santa and more!

December 19: The Sweetback Sisters Country Christmas, Firehouse Center for the Arts

December 22: Magic Fred Christmas Comedy Magic Show, Larcom Theatre

Join the Larcom Theatre for a spectacular Christmas Comedy Magic Show featuring Magic Fred, a top regional magician. December 24: Feast of Seven Fishes, Davio's Lynnfield
