Grammy Award winning pianist, BILL CHARLAP has performed and recorded with many leading artists of our time, ranging from jazz masters Phil Woods and Wynton Marsalis to singers Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand. Since 1997, he has led the Bill Charlap Trio with bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington, recognized as one of the leading groups in jazz. Charlap is the artistic director of New York City’s Jazz in July Festival at the 92nd Street Y, and he has produced concerts for Jazz at Lincoln Center, the JVC Jazz Festival and the Hollywood Bowl.

Five Play has performed at many of the world's most prestigious concert halls, music festivals and jazz clubs. From Carnegie Hall to the Kennedy Center and major festivals in Israel, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland and Portugal, the quintet never fails swing their listeners into happiness.

August 13, 2022: Helen Sung Quartet

Helen Sung and her band have performed at major festivals/venues including Newport, Monterey, SFJAZZ, Disney Hall, and Carnegie Hall. Internationally, her “NuGenerations” Project toured southern Africa as a U.S. State Department Jazz Ambassador, and recent engagements include debuts at the London Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai, Blue Note Beijing, and the Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival. In addition, Helen Sung currently performs with fine ensembles including the Mingus Big Band and McLorin Salvant’s Ogresse. She has served on the jazz faculties at the Berklee College of Music, the Juilliard School, and Columbia University, where she also was the inaugural jazz artist-in-residence at Columbia’s prestigious Zuckerman Institute in 2019. Helen Sung was named a Steinway Artist in 2020.
