Longview Public Library News : Banned Book Week - Reading Challenge

Schools and Libraries

August 29, 2022

From: Longview Public Library

In September, libraries participate in Banned Book Week and celebrate the right and freedom to read.
To help get in the spirit, we have a special challenge for adults ages 18+ to take on!

Participate online by going to Beanstack (the same way you did for Adult Summer Reading Club) and register for the challenge.
You can also pick up a paper reading log from the front desk or Banned Book Display.

All month, read as many books from the Banned/Challenged Book List that you can and submit your reading log online (or note it on your paper log).

You’ll have until September 30 to get any reading done and logs submitted.

For each title you read and mark off from the checklist, your name will be entered in a prize raffle drawing that will be announced on October 3 via the library’s Facebook page!
