Ironton's festival of witchcraft and wizardry!

Prepare to be enchanted at Ironton Wizardfest, a whimsical festival created by devoted fans of the legendary tale of the most famous boy wizard. This magical celebration is a sanctuary for all admirers of the world of wizardry. We invite you to join us for a weekend of wonder, camaraderie, and pure magic. Let the enchantment begin!

What's a wizard to do at Ironton Wizardfest?

- Meet Actors from the film series

- Dance the night away at the Wizard's Ball (18+)

- Watch reptile and creepy creatures shows

- Feed and pet exotic animals

- Pull up a stool at the Two Beaters Wizard's Pub

- Explore massive LEGO Displays

- Snap a photo with an Authentic Ford Anglia

- Prove you're the fastest in broom racing timed trials

- Create your wand and explore your creativity in our craft tents

- Dress to impress the judges of our Cosplay Competitions

- Discover Batch 1313 (the original recipe of our favorite butterscotch drink)

- Attend Ironton Wizardry Academy Classes

- Claw at your inner raven in cleverly crafted riddle rooms

- Capture the moments throughout the festival in themed photo ops

- Take deep dives for prizes at Team Trivia throughout the entire weekend

- Interact with spontaneous street performers

- Shop the marketplace of over 60 handcraft vendors

- Stroll through our wizardry heritage market for demonstrations of broom making, blacksmith forging, and wood carving

- Eat your weight in food, pastries, and candies.

November 11, 2023

The Ironton Prophet:

11:00am- 7:00pm: Actor Meet and Greets with Chris Rankin who played Percy Weasley, and Josh Herdman who Played Gregory Goyle in the Harry Potter films.

Purchase tickets here for each celebrity you would like to meet. Get an autograph and a selfie with up to one other friend. You can choose to have a personal item autographed or one of the provided photographs. Limit one selfie and one autograph per purchase. (lunch break 1pm-2pm and each celebrity guest will be hosting a Q and A)

1:00pm: COSPLAY CONTEST - Three Age Divisions 0-10; 11-17; 18+

8:00 pm - Midnight: Wizard's Ball Adults 18+ only (SOLD OUT)

The Wizard's Ball is a winter-themed magical evening in the Ro-Na's Auditorium. Tickets to the Ball include a full buffet (including vegetarian options), performances, Fandom-Themed Club style DJ and entrance into the Wizard's Ball Cosplay Contest.

Opens with the gate and closes with the Ball. (Only Wizard's Ball ticket holders are permitted between 8pm-Midnight and must enter through the RoNa Lobby)

Quench your thirst as you cheer on your favorite team at the Tri-State's oldest Wizard's Pub.

Please drink responsibly. (A good rule of thumb… when this looks correct - "Kwid-ditch" - you're only two adult Butterscotch Brews away from being stuck using the fireplace to get home.)

at Riddle Rooms (escape rooms)
10am - 7pm - Our escape rooms return this year in an all-new location with an additional brand-new Riddle Room. The Riddle Rooms are located in the same building as the festival merch directly across the street from the Ro-Na theater. Be sure to reserve your time slot as soon as you arrive because these rooms fill up fast.

at Vernon Street Kid's Craft Tent:
10am - 5pm - Briggs Library presents themed crafts for up-and-coming witches and wizards in the colorful tent city on Vernon Street.

at Vernon Street Exotic Animals:
11am - 5pm - Barker Farms returns to delight, educate, and inspire through interactions with some uncommon creatures from around the world.

at The Johnson's Magical Marvels
10am - 7pm - Broom Making Demonstrations

atHeritage Square
Learn about local wizard heritage with ongoing demonstrations in Blacksmithing, Broom making, Chainsaw Carving, Open Fire Kettles, and Apple Cider.

at Greenhouse
10am - 7pm - Tera Fate Exotics Greenhouse is a must see with rare and exotic plants and terrariums.

Scavenger Hunt
Ongoing during both days of the festival. Complete the scavenger hunt and be entered to win a grand prize drawing at the end of the festival. *You do not have to be present to win.
