Adventure Pass of the Month - Museum of Science

Dedicated to promoting and educating visitors about science and technology, the museum includes a planetarium, the world’s largest open-air Van de Graaff generator, an IMAX theatre, a butterfly garden, and permanent and changing exhibits on birds, insects and animals; space; dinosaurs; engineering; nanotechnology; math; biology; and more. Place your hold requests for this pass by visiting our Adventure Pass page. Our Adventure Passes are generously funded by The Friends of Hopkinton Public Library.

"Thing" of the Month - DVD Projector: Optoma HD20
Long winter nights call for cozying up with a good movie! Project your favorites onto a screen, wall or sheet with our Optoma projector. Pop some popcorn, and get ready for a fun night in! While you're out strolling Hopkinton, stop in for cider and donuts and listen to some holiday music. The Friends of the Library Book sale will also be going on!

Women in World Jazz Concert
Saturday, December 2 at the Senior Center    2:30 - 3:45 pm

Join the Library and the Senior Center for a concert featuring women artists and composers from around the world! All members of the group are accomplished musicians playing a variety of music ranging from Jazz to world/ethnic styles. The international roster directly influences the choice of repertoire, hence the band is comfortable working with different musical styles.

Frayed Knot Fiber Arts Circle

Join us for the Frayed Knot Fiber Arts Circle! Bring your current project or pattern. This group is open to teens and adult of all skill levels. All fiber arts crafts (knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, needle felting, etc. ) are more than welcome to join us!

Narcan Training and Community Harm Reduction with the Hopkinton Health Department
Narcan is the brand name of the generic Naloxone and is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids. This free Narcan training will provide participants with a brief training on how to recognize an opioid overdose, when and how to use Narcan, and a free kit to take home.
